Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth, for he shall not speak of himself but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak and he shall show you things to come. He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you (John 16:13-14).
The Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost who is also Christ in a believer is the most important personality in you and with you. He's the totality of the one and only true God(Jesus Christ), in a man who believe in Jesus Christ. See what I mean in the following verses: 1 John 4:15 "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God." Jesus Christ is God, he's our Lord and Savior and also the Holy Spirit living in us. 1 John 5:20 "And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life." 2 Corinthians 3:17 "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is , there is liberty." Also consider Isaiah 9:6, 1 Timothy 3:16, John 3:11-13, 14:6-10, 1 John 5:7, Ephesians 2:22, 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20.
Jesus admonished his disciples after his resurrection to wait for the coming of the Holy Ghost; he was indirectly telling them that without the presence of the Spirit in them, they can't function in his victory, on earth(Acts 1:1-8). The Holy Ghost is the custodian of the benefits of Christ salvation. He's the one who manifest the goodness of God in our totality; he root out the absolute goodness of God(the benefits of Christ salvation) in and through a man who believe in Jesus Christ . In Acts 2, he actually came to live in them and they received ability to witness for Christ. In this kingdom of Jesus Christ, believers or Christians were never told to lead themselves. We are born of the Spirit(John 3:6, 1 Corinthians 12:3). To be a Christian without the knowledge of the Holy Ghost, will deprive the believer the ability to manifest the benefits of salvation in Christ which is all goodness; though saved(have eternal security), such will live in defeat as if he never receive Christ.
The Holy Ghost is the only one that will help you function at your peak in the awesome victory of Christ. Jesus called Him our helper, comforter and guide. With Him, you can't lack help, comfort and guidance. It is so interesting to know that Jesus Christ Himself is the Holy Ghost in you; Now the Lord is that Spirit... You are to depend on the Holy Ghost to lead you always. Romans 8:14 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." We are to totally follow the leading of the Spirit. Jesus said "He will guide you into all truth" Now, the believer may affirm these words: In the name of Jesus Christ, the Spirit of truth is my guide, therefore I will never be led astray nor be led into errors. I walk in the path of truth all the time. Amen. The path of truth is that of life; absolute goodness of God.
For the unsaved or unbeliever, receive a goodly heritage; Christ(life) and his total goodness, be saved right now. Be a glorious Son of God by declaring these words from Romans 10:9-10: Jesus Christ, you are my Lord and Savior. I believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead for my justification. Thank you Father, I am saved. Amen. With these words, you are now a son of God, righteous, and filled with the fullness of God. To grow in Christ and function in his victory, search for a Church or a place of worship that have or teaches the doctrine of Christ alone.
PRAYER:
In the name of Jesus Christ, thank you Father for the leading of your Spirit in me. I walk in the path of life, excellence, greatness, health, safety, wisdom, success and total victory in all my deed because the Spirit of truth is my guide. I function in the victory of Christ forever and there is no occasion of stumbling, mistakes or errors in me. I function in the wisdom and excellence of Christ. With the presence of the indwelling Christ in me, I am a blessing to myself and others. The unsaved are receiving Christ as they receive the gospel of Christ all around the world today, and the saved are walking in the fullness of the blessing. Amen.
