SPEAK YOUR VICTORY IN CHRIST.

GRACE LIFE, DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR SAM & ETANA AYODELE SUNDAY 19TH MAY, 2024.

1 Peter 3:10-11 “For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.”

1 Peter 3:10-11 “New Living Translation (NLT) "For the Scriptures say, "If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.

I believe lies represent words that doesn’t agree with who a believer is in Christ, what a believer have in Christ and what Christ can do through a believer, from the scriptures. Jesus is the truth and the author of truth. John 14:6 “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

Jesus Christ is God Almighty, everlasting Father and eternal life (Isaiah 9:6, 1 John 5:20). When we speak words that agree with our identity in Christ like words of health, healing, safety, complete dominion over devils, over sin, sickness, oppression, words of eternal security, etc., as it’s ordained in Christ, we’re speaking the truth. Acknowledge your spiritual gifts in Christ-righteousness, ability to spread the gospel, holiness, justification, eternal life, the Holy Spirit, Faith, peace etc..

The message of Jesus Christ: his incarnation, his death on the cross for our sins, burial, resurrection and ascension with the benefits that followed, who we are in him and who he is in us, coupled with what he is doing, in and through us by his Spirit, represent the body of truth. We are encouraged to speak in consonant with the truth. Consider the words of Jesus to the people in John 8:44:..

...For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.” Wherever lies are prevalent, Satan is at work. If you allow him, he will lie to you. He will deceive you to speak against yourself and also make you believe who you are not.

With this, you’ve given him your authority to work against you. When a believer talk aside who he is in Christ, he agree with the devil and begin to manifest the character of the devil. He will bring himself under the oppression of the devil. Philemon 1:6 “That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” To manifest the victory of Christ, don’t give up  the truth of God’s word.

Call yourself who God called you no matter the circumstance. Truth will always prevail because Jesus is the truth and he’d already won the victory for us. You must depend on the Spirit of Christ in you, to train your tongue to always speak in your favour and in the favour of others. Why is this so important? Enjoying the life of Christ you've received with the goodness of this life, in this world, absolutely depend on what you are saying. With your words, you can take charge of other things.

With the ability of the Holy Spirit, we will grow in the precise knowledge of Christ from the scriptures, reign over sin and its consequences. We will spread the gospel to nations, heal the sick, cast out devils etc., as we embrace the truth of our righteousness in Christ. Unbelievers may consider the prayer of salvation below:

LIFE IN CHRIST.

GRACE LIFE, DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR SAM & ETANA AYODELE. SATURDAY 18TH MAY, 2024.

Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death (Romans 8:1-2 (NLT)).

The law of sin and death is the old covenant law with its practices. Jesus fulfilled the law and by his sacrifice, he established believers in his everlasting love (Matthew 5:17, Romans 10:4). Believers are not lawless people but have the law of liberty which is that of love or life. Romans 5:5 “And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.”

When someone receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, he/she is born by the Spirit of God who is Christ himself. Jesus in his earth walk talked about the coming of the Holy Spirit, he actually said that he is the one to come as the Spirit: John 14:15-18 (NLT) “....He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you.” We didn’t look for him; he came to us.

Jesus Christ is everlasting Father and God Almighty (Isaiah 9:6, 1 John 5:20). In Acts 2, He came as the Spirit to give birth to his Church and live permanently in believers. John 14:16 “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.” 2 Corinthians 3:17 “The Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” From our theme verse, those who are in Christ are freeborn; cannot be in bondage because they are born of the Spirit.

John 3:6 “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:3 “Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.” Being born of the Spirit, you’re a freeborn: free from the power  of sin that leads to spiritual death; this is a cycle of all evil or  the misery of this world and eternal damnation (Genesis 2, 3, Deuteronomy 28). You have dominion over physical death (Psalm 92:12-15, Ephesians 1:3).

Persecution for the sake of the gospel is sure for us(2 Timothy 3:12, 1 Peter 4:12-19, Mark 10:30). James 1:25 “But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” The message of Christ: his vicarious death on the cross for men’s sins, burial, resurrection and ascension with the benefits that followed, is the perfect law of liberty (1 Corinthians 15). This is also faith in Christ and love for the brethren (John 3:16, Ephesians 1:15).

The benefit of Christ salvation is a functional law in the life of a believer who is receiving the message of Christ alone and he is growing  and acting on the word(the same message). For example: the devil is subject to your authority in Christ. You’re freely justified and can’t suffer eternal damnation because Jesus took your place of sin and  went to hell for you, in his substitutionary sacrifice. You can access what Christ provided by faith; call yourself who Christ called you and trust in the Spirit of Christ(life) to always do the word.

With this, your totality will be an absolute display of the goodness of God. Spread the gospel, heal the sick, cast out devils etc..

PRAYER OF SALVATION FOR THE UNSAVED.

For the unsaved, see what 1 John 5:12 says "He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life." To have life and be among the living, accept God's love and be saved right now, by declaring these words from Romans 10:9-10: Jesus Christ, I believe in my heart that you died to save me from sin and its consequences. I believe God raised you from the dead for my justification. Now, I declare that you’re my Lord and Savior. Thank you Father, I am a new creation in Christ. Amen. With these words, you are now a son of God, righteous, and filled with the fullness of God. To grow in Christ and function in his victory, please search for a Church or a place of worship where they teach the doctrine of Christ alone.

AFFIRMATION FOR THE SICK:

In the name of Jesus Christ, with the stripes of Jesus, I was healed. Healing is among the benefits of the finished work of Christ. I receive healing right now in Jesus name.

PRAYER:

In the name of Jesus Christ, I’m in Christ: bone of his bones and flesh of his flesh. Therefore, there is no condemnation for me. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus freed me from the law of sin and death. My old self was crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ live in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Thank you Father for the law of liberty in Christ. Amen.

HIS NAME IS JESUS CHRIST.

GRACE LIFE, DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR SAM & ETANA AYODELE. FRIDAY 17TH  MAY, 2024.

Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Romans 10:9 "If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

John 1:29 “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

Unbelievers should consider the prayer of salvation below in order to receive Christ. Jesus Christ is God Almighty, everlasting Father, eternal life and the Holy Spirit in us (Isaiah 9:6, 1 John 5:20, 2 Corinthians 3:17). The name of Jesus Christ is vested with the highest authority in heaven and on earth. Matthew 28:18-19 "Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations...."

The name of Jesus belongs to us for absolute victory, on earth. Philippians 2:9-10 'Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,  in heaven and on earth and under the earth." With this knowledge, We reign as kings in life through Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).

We have absolute mastery over the devil, his cohorts and their wiles(cunning craftiness of men who yield their conscience to the devil against the gospel of Christ and against men who spread this gospel). All that Jesus achieved for us is our platform of everlasting victory. The death of Jesus on the cross for our sins, fixed the devil forever (Hebrews 2:12).

There is no other sacrifice that can do this. What was required to put an end to the reign of Satan, sin and its consequences was death and every sinner deserve death for the soul that sinneth shall die (Ezekiel 18:20)." Jesus took the place of all men in Adam, became the price for sin, payed the full price of sin and concurrently receive the full wages of sin which is death(separation from God), for all men. He kept men's appointment with Spiritual death once and for all. We have dominion over physical death in his name (Palm 92:12-15).

Hebrews 2:14-15 "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage." The name: Jesus Christ is the embodiment of the Word of God. He’s is also called the Word of God(Revelation 19:13, John 1:1-5, 1 Timothy 3:16, 1 John 5:20).

The fulfilled promises of God are in this name. The fullness of God also reside in the name. This name is given to us for our advancement here on earth. With the help of the Spirit of Christ in believers, we can grow in the precise knowledge of Christ from the scriptures: the knowledge of his death, burial, resurrection and ascension with the benefits that followed. We can spread the gospel to nations, Pray for all men, heal the sick, cast out devils etc., all in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER OF SALVATION FOR THE UNSAVED.

For the unsaved, see what 1 John 5:12 says "He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life." To have life and be among the living, accept God's love and be saved right now, by declaring these words from Romans 10:9-10: Jesus Christ, you are my Lord and Savior. I believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead for my justification.  Thank you Father, I am new creation in Christ. Amen. With these words, you are now a son of God, righteous, and filled with the fullness of God. To grow in Christ and function in his victory, please search for a Church or a place of worship where they teach the doctrine of Christ alone.

AFFIRMATION FOR HEALTH:

In the name of Jesus Christ, with the stripes of Jesus, I was healed. Health is among the benefits of the finished work of Christ. Health is real in my body till old age. Thank you Father for the gift of healing and that of divine health. Amen.

PRAYER:

In the name of Jesus Christ, I have passed from death unto life. I have the life and nature of God. I'm in Christ, I’m named the name of Christ. I cast out devils, I speak with new tongues, in the name of Jesus. I'm safe in this world because of this name. I lay hands on the sick, and they recover. I prosper in my totality, in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you Father for your name-Jesus Christ. Amen.

GOD-BORN IN CHRIST.

GRACE LIFE, DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR SAM &  ETANA AYODELE. THURSDAY 16TH MAY, 2024.

1 John 5:20 “And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life.”

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him (1 John 5:1).

1 John 5:1 MSG “Every person who believes that Jesus is, in fact, the Messiah, is God-born. If we love the One who conceives the child, we’ll surely love the child who was conceived.”

Born of God, is the glorious status of believers. Unbelievers can consider the prayer of salvation below in order to be born of God. Jesus Christ is God Almighty (Isaiah 9:6, 1 Timothy 3:16, 1 John 5:20, Titus 2:13). God have Sons who are exactly like him; we have his nature. 2 Peter 1:4 “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."

With the fulfilled promises of God in Christ, we became partakers of God's divine nature. 2 Corinthians 1:20 "For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us." This divine nature, exempt believers from the corruption of this world that men can perpetuate by yielding their conscience to the devil. Since the devil is already defeated by Jesus' death, it is only men that can yield their conscience to this enemy, for use (Hebrews 2:14).

The good news is this: the believer is not susceptible to the wickedness of men because he or she is born of God. Also, men are not our adversaries but the devil. So, we bless men with the glad tidings of Christ but take authority in the name of Jesus Christ, against the devil who can take over their conscience to perpetuate evil. See 2 Peter 1:4 in the new living Translation(NLT): “And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises...

..These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.” No man can plot evil against God successfully, by yielding his conscience to the devil. So is the believer because of God’s nature-eternal life, in him or her. If you are a believer, you have dominion over the devil and the misery of this world (Luke 9:1-2). The vicarious death of Jesus on the cross for our sins, his burial, resurrection and ascension with the benefits he bagged for us in this redemptive work, is our everlasting victory over devils with their wiles.

Jesus’ authority is ours (Ephesians 1:18-21, 2:6, 1 Corinthians 15:45-53). With the ability of the Holy Spirit in us, we can grow in the precise knowledge of Christ from the scriptures and do the work of Jesus’ ministry: spread the gospel, heal the sick, cast out devils, raise the dead, make disciples for Christ etc..

AFFIRMATION FOR THE SICK:

In the name of Jesus Christ, with the stripes of Jesus, I was healed. Healing is among the benefits of the finished work of Christ. I receive healing right now in Jesus name.

PRAYER:

In the name of Jesus Christ, I'm born of God, I have the divine nature in me. With this, I have escaped the corruption of the wicked. My old self was crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ live in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Thank you Father for this divine nature. Amen.

Wednesday 15 May 2024

YOUR COMPLETENESS IN CHRIST.

GRACE LIFE, DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR SAM & ETANA AYODELE. WEDNESDAY 15TH MAY, 2024.

Colossians 2:9 “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:”

For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority (Colossians 2:9-10 NLT).

From MSG Bible: “Everything of God gets expressed in him, so you can see and hear him clearly. You don’t need a telescope, a microscope, or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ, and the emptiness of the universe without him. When you come to him, that fullness comes together for you, too. His power extends over everything.”

Through our union with Christ, we have all of God; complete in him. God is just, holy, righteous, loving, powerful, great, merciful, etc.. We have all of him because we are united with Christ; bone of his bones and flesh of his flesh. Ephesians 5:30 “And we are members of his body. As the Scriptures say, A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.”

...This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one.” Jesus Christ is, and was God in human form. He manifested on earth as a man, suffered in the hands of sinners as a man, died a vicarious death on the cross as a man, rose from the dead and ascended as a man. He was completely God in a human body. 1 Timothy 3:16 NLT “Without question, this is the great mystery of our faith: Christ was revealed in a human body and vindicated by the Spirit...

He was seen by angels and announced to the nations. He was believed in throughout the world and taken to heaven in glory.”  Luke 22:63 “The guards in charge of Jesus began mocking and beating him.” Matthew 27:50 “Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.” John 19:40 “Following Jewish burial custom, they wrapped Jesus’ body with the spices in long sheets of linen cloth.” 1 Corinthians 15:4 “He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.”

All through this process, Jesus was God in human form. Jesus who is God also ascended as a man and he’s seated in the heavenly, as a man. Luke 24:42-43, 50, 51 “They gave him a piece of broiled fish, and he ate it as they watched. Then Jesus led them to Bethany, and lifting his hands to heaven, he blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up to heaven.” Jesus Christ is the completeness of God Almighty. Outside Him, there is no God.

He’s the completeness of divinity; the one and only true God (1 John 5:20, Isaiah 9:6, Titus 2:13). If anyone is calling on God outside Jesus Christ, he’s yet to know the only true God. Jesus Christ is God’s place or God’s headquarters. Where was God when Jesus died on the cross to unite man with God? God was in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:18-21). God and man met in Christ.

Colossians 1:19 “For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ.” God in his completeness is Jesus Christ and as believers we’re united with Christ; complete, whole, having all of God in this flesh. The different now is the glorified body that Jesus ascended with which we will put on when the trumpet sound (1 Corinthians 15:53).

With the ability of the Spirit of Christ in us, we will grow in the precise knowledge of Christ from the scriptures: spread the gospel, heal the sick, cast out devils etc..

Amen. Tuesday 14 May 2024

JESUS IS FOR YOU.

GRACE LIFE, DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR SAM & ETANA AYODELE. TUESDAY 14TH MAY, 2024.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Hebrews 1:13 “But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”

Romans 8:32 “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”

God’s best gift to all men( male and female), is Jesus Christ. Unbelievers should consider the prayer of salvation below in order to receive Christ. Christ salvation is our best inheritance in life. He’s our salvation. He gave himself and totality to humanity in his incarnation, in his death on the cross for our sins, burial, resurrection and ascension. Christ was at the service of humanity in his redemptive work.

Believer are called his prized possession (1 John 2:2, Hebrews 7:25, Ephesians 1:18-21, 2:6, James 1:18). Anyone born into this world who refuse this inheritance would have wasted his time and effort when Christ return. We should consider this and be fervent in prayer for the unsaved and also engage in evangelism as never before. In salvation, we have the gift of  eternal life-the very life and nature of God, the gift of the Holy Ghost, the gift of righteousness.

We have sanctification, hope, health, grace, healing, longevity, redemption and forgiveness of sins. The absolute goodness of God is in the salvation package for all people. Christ salvation is God's only plan for any one born into this world. For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory (2 Corinthians 1:20, NLT). As a believer, Christ is in you and you’re in him (1 John 4:15). All of God's promises have been fulfilled in Christ, for you.

You are born a success in Christ because salvation and its contents is the  fulfilled promises of God for all people and this is your inheritance in Him. We will have persecution for the sake of the gospel. From our theme text, believers are not suppose to worship Angels; they are ministering spirits, sent to serve inheritors of salvation. Angels don't minister to us but for us; they follow our words. Hebrews 1:13-14 (NIV) "To which of the angels did God ever say, "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”[a]? ..

...Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?" Jesus’ great service for us is awesome: he was the one who came to this earth looking for sinners, he suffered sin with its consequences for us, he was the one who gave up himself and his totality for man sake. He died the death of a criminal on the cross for our sins, he was buried and want to hell for us. He ascended to glory and He’s seated in the heavenly for us too.

Jesus Christ is God Almighty, everlasting Father, eternal life (Isaiah 9:6, 1 John 5:20). He’s the source of the Church and he’s the Holy Spirit who live mightily in us, fulfilling his good pleasures on earth (2 Corinthians 3:17, Philippians 2:12-13, 1:11 NLT). With all he’d achieved for us in his sufferings and glorification, we can depend on the Holy Spirit, to grow in the precise knowledge of Christ from the scriptures, spread the gospel to nations, heal the sick, cast out devils etc..

Amen.

In the name of Jesus Christ, the promises of God were fulfilled for me, in Christ. Now, I'm a beneficiary of the sufferings of Christ and his glorification. The results of the finished work of Christ is my eternal identity. I manifest absolute goodness in my totality. The death, burial, resurrection and Ascension of Christ is for my advancement. Therefore, I'm  success. The unsaved will receive Christ today as they hear his good news of salvation all around the world, with the leading of the Spirit. Thank you Father for the gift of “You” to humanity. Amen.

FUNCTION IN THE MINISTRY OF JESUS.

GRACE LIFE, DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR SAM & ETANA AYODELE. MONDAY 13TH MAY, 2024.

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-19).

Contrary to the opinion of many in the kingdom that believers are born to fight enemies, kill people and raise fire on their haters while praying, the above texts are instructive: The ministry of reconciling men to God is the ministry of believers and the word of reconciliation is the word we’ve all received in Christ and never the word of killing, vengeance or destruction.

We’re to exercise our dominion in Christ over devils, his wiles-cunning craftiness of men who yield their conscience to the devil for use, over sin and its consequences and over all evil that Jesus ended in his substitutionary sacrifice. But for people who Jesus died for, we pray for their salvation and also tell them the good news of Jesus Christ who is God but became a man for the sake of saving sinners(Isaiah 9:6, 1 John 5:2, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21).

The good news of his incarnation, his death on the cross for our sins, burial, resurrection and ascension with the benefits that followed this awesome work of Christ, is our declaration to the unsaved. With this, their hearts will rejoice because of Jesus’ unconditional love for men(male and female).

2 Corinthians 5:19 “For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.” This message is not just about sinners running to the Savior-Jesus Christ, but that God became a man-Jesus, and came to meet sinners in order to save them. He became the only bonafide ransom, paid for the sins of men. He’s not counting sins against any but that all unsaved should accept him who paid for their sins (Romans 10:9-10).

The unsaved should believe in the death and resurrection of Christ and declare with his mouth that Jesus Christ is his Lord and Savior. With this he will be born of the Spirit of Christ, full of the life and nature of God (2 Corinthians 5:17, 11 Corinthians 12:3). He should be directed to a local assembly where they teach the doctrine of Christ alone for his proper spiritual growth in Christ. With this growth, he too can spread the gospel, cast out devils, make disciples for Jesus etc..

The reason for teachers or pastors, evangelists, prophets and apostles in the body of Christ, is for the maturity of the saints so we all can do the work of Jesus’s ministry (Ephesians 4:11-16). Evangelism or soul winning, with the message of Christ is still our ultimate assignment in Christ. Our efforts, prayer, giving etc.. should be involve in this great work. With the ability of the Spirit of Christ in us, absolute success is our identity in reconciling men to Christ.
