YOU ARE IN THE DOMAIN OF LIGHT (CHRIST).

  Giving thanks unto the father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear son (Colossians 1:12-13).
   Believers were qualified by Christ to partake of the inheritance of the saints in light. We didn't qualify ourselves with any work of righteousness, there was no contribution from us but Christ did it all. I like the way this portion talk about a believer in Christ: he is not the one that will be looking for deliverance from evil spirits or demons,  he is not in the domain of darkness either. A believer's inheritance is in the light and he is in the domain where men cannot be possess with unclean spirits or suffer the misery of this world. Now declare these words: In the name of Jesus Christ, thank you Father for qualifying me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light, thank you for making me an occupant of the kingdom of your dear Son. Here, the victory of Christ is my identity forever. Amen.
    We only partake of the inheritance in the light and never that of darkness. John 10:10 "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." Therefore, whatever the devil can offer (all evil), is never your portion forever. The only legal occupant you can have in your life is the Holy Ghost. 1 Corinthians 3:16 says "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says" What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit which are God's" Unclean spirits, sickness and the likes can't stay in you. You life is that of Christ, your body have been bought with the blood of Jesus. No evil can access you for your totality is God's.
    From our theme text, God is not going to deliver us but had already done that. We are free men in the Kingdom of Christ: free from death, fear and failure, free from defeat and all forms of evil and wickedness. As we keep growing in the knowledge of Christ by receiving His precise knowledge through the teaching of His sufferings and the glory that follows (1 Peter 1:10-11), we keep taking delivery of all that He has given to us.
Jesus Christ  is light (John 1:4). It shows that our inheritance is in Christ. We are in Christ and Christ is seated in the position of authority in the heavenly where Satan and all forces of darkness cannot access. When thoughts of fear and worry comes to your mind, note that the devil is trying to attack your mind by opening a line of conversation for you to engage in discussion with him. This was how Eve engaged in a conversation with the devil in the Garden of Eden in Genesis 3, this ended in the fall of man.
   1 Timothy 6:16 says “....Who alone hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto;”. God is light and Satan is the darkness. Light and darkness can never co-exist. Jesus Christ is God (1 John 5:7, 20, Isaiah 9:6, John 14:6-10). You are in God and He is in you (1 John 4:15). You are in the light. Jesus rightly said that you are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14). You are invisible to the devil for he is darkness. In God there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). One way Satan can access believers is to call them out of light by opening a line of conversation through their thoughts. Don’t attend to wrong thoughts. Don’t consider wrong thoughts, you are called to consider Jesus. To keep your exalted position in Christ, be consistent with the word of God and testify about your life in Christ and your position in him at all time. Don't allow your dreams or experiences suggest to you that you are under bondage. You can never be bound, he hath delivered you. Say what God have said and refuse to bow to any circumstances.

PRAYER:
In the name of Jesus Christ, thank you Father for delivering me from the domain of darkness and for translating me into the kingdom of your dear son. I partake of the inheritance of the saints in light. I am fully exempted from the activities of darkness forever. I function in the victory of Christ. I am manifesting all the benefits of Christ salvation. The unsaved are receiving Christ today all around the world as they hear the good news of Christ salvation, the saved are walking in the light. Amen.
